In the Casa de Moneda [Mint] -firstly in the former mint and then in that constructed by Felipe II in 1583-, reales were coined with a mint mark which would travel the world becoming an icon: Segovia´s Aqueduct.
In honour of the centuries-old relationship, the new mint complex houses the Aqueduct Visitor Centre, a modern, interactive, multimedia space.
Water, the driving force of the entire Mint, will guide you along the more than 15km of the best-conserved Roman aqueduct in the world, through the more than two thousand-year-old history of the monument declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 985.
